The Team from Zesty and Tibus had a fantastic afternoon on Saturday (4th August) celebrating Belfast Pride's Pride Day, proudly wearing our #LoveIsEqual t-shirts, created especially for the occasion by our Design Team. We watched the Parade from a spot near Custom House Square, it was a great day in the sun. The city centre was awash with colour, costumes and a party atmosphere.
With the largest turn out to date, tens of thousands of people congregated in Belfast City Centre to show their support. The streets were lined with spectators of all ages, many of which were accompanied by their furry friends – also sporting Pride colours.
This year’s theme ‘Come Out for Change’, was a call to make a stand for equality and to pledge support for the LGBTQ+ community. Zesty and Tibus are committed to equality and inclusion and were delighted to see Belfast embrace the festival with such an impressive turnout.
The annual Pride Festival is one of Belfast’s biggest cross-community Festivals, hosting over 100 Events across 10 days. Pride Day was a culmination of the Festive spirit - ‘a celebration, a call for equality, a stand for solidarity and a celebration of the lives of LGBT people in Belfast.’
Zesty is looking forward to 2019’s Belfast Pride already!
